    • rTrava / Native Rewards Burn Mechanism
      posted in Lending

Trava could give users an option to choose whether they want their rewards in rTrava or in the native token of a lending pool. Burn mechanism could be implemented where native reward users would only receive certain amount (1/2) of their total rewards. For example if current rTrava rewards for USD pool are at rate o 9%, users who choose to get rewards only in USD would earn 4.5%. The rest of Trava would be burned, thus benefiting the users who long(er) term hold Trava. This way there would be less speculation since users who want to earn other tokens than Trava by lending, would not feel the pressure to sell immediately or when Trava is volatile.

      • For a user benefit is simple, they get the tokens they want to earn in first place. In case of stable coins the no-volatility factor is a huge advantage.

      • For a Trava Protocol benefit is in burning mechanism where the traditional value of TRAVA would be pushed higher the more users are using native rewards. Also less immediate sell speculation of rTrava would help protocol long-term.

    • Lending/Swap Collateral [TRAVA SWAP]
      posted in Lending

Just had an interesting idea, not sure how manageable is it to implement. But I think it would be worthy of exploration, as it could give more utility to Trava Protocol.

Available lending collateral, not currently borrowed by users, could be used as liquidity collateral for Swapping Tokens

This way TRAVA could introduce their own token swap feature which would benefit users and ecosystem.

      • Trava site would be one stop shop for all - swap/lend/stake/nft game

      • Swapping tokens could have a standard fee that could be used for enriching ecosystem (burn-back) and giving incentives to the lenders

      • Popular Swapped Tokens could increase APR of pools with low volume, by collecting higher fees. Thus making the collateral deposits to the lending pool even more favorable for the end-user.

      • Unlocked lending collateral doesn't have to sit idle and start collecting additional fees from swapping

      How could this (not) work?
Well hope some of more smart people could answer this, but I presume something like this is somewhat possible to implement.

Of course balancing pools could be an issue, but maybe there are ways around it.

    • Locked supply of TRAVA Knights / Chests
      posted in NFT Knights

Trava should limit the supply of future TRAVA Knights/Chests in order to increase their overall rarity.

Rewarding early knight users and incentivizing the demand/price for knights further via rarity.

Furthermore, by limiting supply, users would be forced to use alternative channels of obtaining their knights: buying items from market, auction and via buy order.

Any other release of new chests should be voted on by Trava community
